Artist's Comments
The final piece of a series for a costume project. We had to show a character getting dressed from naked to completed outfit and the character had to be from a different time period. I love the 1800s, so I chose the Victorian era and that meant I had to show my woman getting dressed with the bustle, corset, chemise and petticoat all as different sketches.
There were a total of 8 different images, I believe and they had to be done in pen! We couldn't do them in pencil first which made it even more difficult but I'm quite pleased with how this final image came out. The other images weren't that great. Artwork (c) Celticreeder, 2005 |
